Dishwasher Manufacturers Secretly Tell You That There Are Two Modes Of Dishwasher Operation

Apr 27, 2022

The current dishwasher generally has two modes: working mode and sleep mode. In the operating mode, the dishwasher works normally, and the bowls and basins placed in the machine are cleaned. When the cleaning work is completed, the dishwasher will go to sleep mode. In sleep mode, most dishwasher components, including the user interface, control panel and control circuit, will be powered off until the user asks the dishwasher to wake up and enter the working mode again. In the sleep mode, most components are cut off, so the power consumption is much lower than that in the working mode, so as to achieve the effect of energy saving.

At present, the working principle of most dishwashers is to spray the tableware with high-pressure hot water added with detergent. The purpose of cleaning the tableware is achieved by using the spraying effect. In fact, this cleaning method is much cleaner than our hand washing. The single washing time of most dishwashers is long. The unit washing time of each tableware is much longer than that of hand washing, and the cleaning effect is also better than that of hand washing.

In order to put the dishwasher into operation, the dishwasher in "sleep mode" must be awakened, which is usually performed by the user pressing the "wake up" button. The control circuit of the dishwasher is provided with a "wake-up" detection circuit to continuously detect whether the "wake-up" button is pressed. When the "wake-up" key is detected to be pressed, the detection circuit sends a signal to enter the working mode to the control circuit. In order to detect whether the "wake-up" button is pressed, the detection circuit usually works continuously. Therefore, although the dishwasher is in "sleep mode", the detection circuit still works continuously, and the dishwasher in "sleep" mode still consumes power.

With the development of society, people put forward higher requirements for energy conservation, and from the perspective of the industry, higher energy conservation requirements may be put forward for such equipment in the future, and the traction power of such equipment will be required to be lower under the energy-saving mode.
